Help with Future Events
The Product Management Association is looking for companies and professionals to help in our mission to enhance the BYU MBA experience and prepare students for careers in product management. We are looking for help in the following areas:
Guest Speakers
The Product Management Association hosts guest speakers with the purpose of providing insight into specific areas of product management. Guest lectures are typically attended by MBA students and technical undergraduates. We are currently looking for industry professionals willing to speak in the following areas:
- Product Strategy
- Portfolio Management
- Product Marketing
- Product Launch
- Customer Focused Design
- Entrepreneurship: Creating a business around a product idea
- Product Management Applied to a Specific Industry (software, consumer electronics, consumer products, etc.)
- Choose your own Adventure (propose a topic and we'll consider hosting it)
Workshops
We are also interested in hosting workshops that help students build the required skills for product management. We are particularly interested in areas not taught within the MBA program, but are open to ideas. Some examples include:
- Agile Development techniques, such as Scrum
- User Experience Design
- Web Analytics for SaaS products
- Choose your own Adventure (propose a topic and we'll consider hosting it)
Networking Lunches
We are currently in the process of setting up regular networking lunches. The lunches will provide a great opportunity to get to know students and other professionals, share your own personal career insights, and have a nice break from the workday. If you are interested in participating in the lunches, please submit your contact information in the Industry Professionals form on the Join page.
